Aquaponics Costa del Sol (ACS) is a pioneering aquaponics company based in Alhaurín El Grande, Málaga, Spain. Founded by Lorraine Hodges — a biologist specialized in aquaponic systems — ACS designs, builds, and delivers sustainable food production solutions for individuals, communities, and commercial operations.

Our mission is to make aquaponics accessible, scalable, and practical — from backyard growers to international development projects. We believe that sustainable food production should be available to everyone.

I am a biologist with a particular focus on designing aquaponic systems that are both efficient and sustainable. I specialise in tailored solutions for public and private organisations, as well as individuals who want to get started with aquaponics.

Through my brand, AQUAPONICS Costa del Sol, my aim is to promote community aquaponics and raise awareness of its potential — making it accessible, profitable and easy to use for anyone, regardless of their resources or experience.
